Treatment of Acne Scars
Scars are recognized by their lighter, darker or pinkish colour and are slightly depressed or raised compared to the surrounding skin. Acne is the most common cause of scarring followed by accidental trauma and surgical operations. Acne scars in Indian skin are treated most effectively by dermaroller microneedling, platelet rich plasma, subscision and chemical peels.
